This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds for the Lacuna application ("Application") provided by Karte Technology LLC ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"). This policy is part of our Terms and Conditions.
All sales are final. Lacuna is available to download and use for free, with access to every feature and no time limit. We provide this free version so You can evaluate the Application's core functionality and confirm it runs correctly on Your Device before You make a purchase. The only restriction in the free version is final file generation (PDF and EPUB), which is the point at which payment is required.
Because You can fully evaluate the Application before buying, we offer refunds in only one narrow circumstance: where the Application is non-operational for You within 14 days of purchase and we are unable to resolve the problem.
"Non-operational" means a verifiable technical fault within the Application itself that prevents it from performing its core functions and that We cannot fix through a software update or with the assistance of Our support team. If we are able to resolve the issue, no refund is due.

You will be required to cooperate with our support team while we attempt to resolve the fault through an update or other means. If we are unable to rectify it, a full refund will be processed to Your original payment method.
Refunds are not granted for general dissatisfaction, change of mind, minor issues that do not prevent the Application from performing its core functions, problems that We are able to resolve through an update or support, or failure to evaluate the free version before purchase.
Once a refund is issued, Your license to use the Application will be terminated, and You must cease all use and uninstall the Application from Your Device(s). Please allow a reasonable number of days for the refund to be processed by Your bank or payment provider.
This refund policy applies only to the initial one-time payment for the Application.
